Rocky Mountaineer boasts the most breathtaking and scenic train tours this country has to offer. The Rocky Mountaineer travels by rail through five of these protected areas: Mount Revelstoke National Park, Glacier National Park, Yoho National Park, and the oldest and the largest of the Rockies parks, Banff and Jasper.

Three provincial parks combined with the four National Parks located in the Rockies, comprise the UNESCO Rocky Mountain World Heritage Site. This ranks as one of the largest protected areas on the planet. Because of this, Rocky Mountaineer scenic train rides are unlike any other in the world.
