Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) was very organized making for a great start to the cruise experience.
We went to a product orientation where a great job was done about explaining what NCL was doing to combat the 3 most common complaints about people not wanting to cruise.
- I don't want to sit with people I don't know (Answer - dine as you please )
- I don't want to wear a tie (Answer - dine as you please )
- I don't want to have set dinning times (Answer - dine as you please )
What is dine as you please? It is the new program where you can pick what time you would like to eat; the number of people that you want to eat with; and not wear a tie!We were also told about the new Eos ship which is coming out the summer of 2010. What an amazing ship. She is going to have everything on it. There will be all kinds of price points as the ship has been made to fit your budget and style. It has it all!
We then wandered around and had a drink in the bar. Following this we got dressed for dinner and met the rest of the office team who had joined us. We had a lovely meal and then we headed off to the night club. We managed to stay up until 11:00pm and then we were off to bed.
Arriving in Vancouver the next morning we headed down for a lovely breakfast in the main dinning room. The service was great and we enjoyed a nice leisurely breakfast. I felt that the one day cruise was most enjoyable. It made the weekend seem extra long as we were home in plenty of time Sunday to get all the regular weekend jobs done.
